I have known a few electricians who will accidentally on purpose shock themselves for the the thrill of the thing! I can relate to bumping into things in the dark, I have done it so many times! But what is worse for me is when I am getting in my car and I slam my head against the door opening. I also have done this when getting out of the car and I always look around to see if anyone is watching. Duh! <em> <strong>Haha! Maybe I do! It really is an unpleasant feeling, though. Funny, I install light fixtures and rewire lamps and have never been shocked when doing this. Ouch...the head on the car is a doozy! I hate that. I'm very tall and I do that all the time...I also am continually whacking my shin on the lower dashboard of my car. You'd think I'd get used to it and realize I need to maneuver myself accordingly when getting into the car! </strong></em> Maybe you secretly like being shocked.
