Ain’t that the truth. It’s getting ugly.
Very ugly. Grrrrr.
It’ll just get even uglier ..
Regardless, I do hope you have a faaaantastic Mother’s Day, you beautiful thang you!
Yes, I’m afraid it will.
Hope you have a fantabulous Mother’s Day as well, Miss Red!!
This morning my car was almost totally out of gas and I drove it anyway and didn’t put gas in. I just couldn’t get myself to pull into the gas station. I don’t know what I think I am going to do when I run out. I guess I’ll use one of those new $5 bills and get 1 1/3 gallons of gas.
I always let my tank get down to “Eat Me” before I think about putting any more in. It’s just so painful parting with my hard earned money, and I know it’s only going to get worse.
Ha! Ha! ‘aint that the damn truth! Very depressing. “whoop! there goes the paycheck to fill the tanks”
Funny pic though!
It is very depressing. I’m trying to drive less and walk more!
Yeah, it sucks. The good news is we’ll probably not be using gas within the next few years. At last, all the alternate fuel gizmos will get on the market – they ‘ve been around forever. And my friend, I will celebrate then – and those oil cartels can eat their damn oil.

It sucks BIG time – especially when you’re the sole bread winner and it seems that all your money is going toward gas to get you to and fro. I’m trying to walk more since everything is pretty accessible here in my small town. We’re even walking to and from school now that the weather is warmer. I, too, will celebrate with you when the alternative fuel gizmos arrive!
the truth hurts. Ouch.
I’m heading straight for the poorhouse.
Sheesh . . .

Don’t worry…I’m right behind you.
Milk and cheese! No complaints here! – T. Orkin
When a warning light flashes on my car control panel, I usually have to pull out the owner’s manual to figure out what it means. The other day a light blinked on that resembled a gas pump….I know that one well: $50 please (and that’s with my small, relatively fuel efficient VW).
Crazy, isn’t it? And here I am thinking of up-sizing because my little Honda Accord is no longer capable of handling a 9 yr. old, 2 dogs, a ladder, and misc. accessories needed in my business. Ugh.
