Yes…I don’t know why, but they do. And you are not the only one! My friends say their dog’s paws smell the same. Weird. My other dog’s paws don’t smell like popcorn. He’s a digger – so they smell like dirt and grass!!

Thanks, Kaylee. He’s my big, spoiled baby! You had asked how I came up with the name 2lazydogs…well, he’s 1/2 of it…and my other dog is the other half. They are two lazy dogs!

I miss having a dog. But I do love my three black cats. But nothing about them smells like popcorn. Gus looks like a happy dog laying there in the sun.
I have to have a dog in my house (along with other animals). I lost my 14 yr. old dog, Bailey, 3 yrs. ago and I didn’t think I’d ever be able to love another animal as much. I lasted 8 months without a dog…and couldn’t stand it any longer. We got Gus at Christmas and then 4 months later we adopted Ridley. We started out with three cats – my 16 yr. old female died of old age and my favorite male cat, Pip, got hit by a car last Oct. We still have his brother, though, and my daughter is trying to talk me into getting another cat.
Zoey’s paws smell like buttermilk. I’m always grabbing her feet and shoving my nose in there. She looks at me like I”m the craziest bitch she’s ever known…..might be true.

Gus isn’t too happy when I grab his paws and sniff. He tried to jump through our front window last year and had to have stitches in his paw so he is a bit sensative when it comes to his paws. Poor baby. I love him too!
They do smell like popcorn. Or Fritos. One of the two.

Thanks…he is awesome, and he does breath like that, especially when he’s got his face draped across my neck. He also makes these deep moaning sounds, and then he drools down my neck. This is what my life has come to. Good times.

Popcorn? Has he been into the snacks? LOL. I think I know what you mean though – I wonder why they smell of popcorn? But that’s okay, I’m sure it is better than many other things they could smell like!
It’s the strangest thing. I’m going to have to do some intense research on this popcorn-smelling-dog-paws issue.
Well, when he’s been traipsing through the pond they don’t smell like popcorn! Ugh.
My dog’s a puppy who’s still getting the hang of potty training. His feet smell like piddle.

Ridley’s never smell like that – his always smell like grass/dirt because he never stops digging! At least I’ve got one popcorn-smelling-pawed dog.

OMG!! I thought I was the only freak that smelled my dog’s toes constantly….I love it!!! Lola’s toes smell like popcorn too!! Every morning I get a little whiff to start my day;) ahahah!!
Hahahaha! I’m so glad I’m not the only one! If anyone saw me sitting on my couch sniffing my dogs toes they’d think I was riding the crazy train! Sometimes when I’m sniffing them I sing a little song that goest like this…”Popcorn toes, popcorn toes, my dog has popcorn toes”. Okay, maybe I am crazy!
