I LOVE your kitchen..but the rest of it was pretty darn cool too.
and btw thank you for posting a picture of your closet so that I know I’m not the only one. We live in a twister magnet so we have no attic and no basement this means that anything I don’t need today and may never need but can’t part with goes in the master bedroom closet. My goal was to semi clean that out…I came here first and I’m glad I did. If you can live with it I can live with it.

The closet makes me CAH-RA-ZEE. For a while the light in it was broken and I refused to fix it - that way I wasn’t forced to look. I just replaced the light last week and when I turned it on I had that ARRGGGHHHH! feeling overtake me. How does one amass so much stuff? Honestly, I’ve been purging all summer and the closet STILL seems like it could swallow me whole.
LOL. I have secretly thought that this is the only real way to get perfectly well-behaved kids (stepford kids).

I recently sat through a four-hour flight with a rambunctious six-year-old-from-hell who was seated in a middle seat two rows away from her grandmother on an overly full flight.
About two hours into the flight the flight attendant came through the cabin asking everyone if they’d like cocktails (for outrageous prices).
When she got to our row the little girl was standing backwards on the seat, hopping up and down and singing over the noise of the engines to her beaming grandmother behind her.
The woman sitting on the aisle end of our row ordered a screwdriver, and when it was delivered looked straight at the little girl and said “here honey, wouldn’t you like a drink?”
The flight attendant comped the drink and gave the woman a hug.
Illegal? Probably. Necessary? OH HELL YES!
Whaaa….t? Um, illegal. Most definitely. But who am I to talk? I’m never afraid to break a little law if it’s ‘necessary’. Ha.
To hell with giving it to the kids!!
