Excellent! so much that I just stole it…..gone!
Any upcoming interviews with your daughter???
I think the next topic should be…drunkeness.
After that topics: fear, growing up, difference between love and like, SEX, short v. tall men and finally…drum roll, cell phone behavior.
is this just midnight talking?? fuck it, who cares? haha.
Swell…I’m glad you liked it. So nice to hear from you, Rachel – I’ve missed you!
I haven’t been working on the interviews but now I will with your excellently suggested topics. I think I’ll leave the SEX interview for later as she doesn’t even know what that means yet!
I wouldn’t underestimate her knowledge but okay.
I missed you too!
Glad to be reading again (as a way of not doing my second year project out of fear, in other words, blogs are great procrastination!).
Anyhoo, can’t wait for the interviews and I hope you have a great weekend.
Ohhh…she keeps asking about sex because, apparently, she hears kids at school talk about it. She’s threatened to “just look it up on wikipedia”, so I guess I shall sit down and have “the talk”! Ugh.
Have a great weekend, also!
I can’t believe you posted this! I have this exact same image in the form of a refrigerator magnet! I bought it when I went on a trip to California! I love it and laugh everytime I read it, but not everyone I show it has the same reaction….. 🙂
I’m so glad someone has the same twisted, sarcastic sense of humor as I do! Wow, maybe we’re long lost sisters – what with all the quotes and things we have in common?!
I did find this on a refrigerator magnet site and would love to have one but my child isn’t quite ready for that kind of statement to greet her every morning. Eek.
Eww! Good one 😉
Here’s a good child conversation that stopped me dead in my tracks….Emily (11) asked me why the governor was in trouble. I fumbled for words but finally told her that he had been caught paying a woman for sex and she said “Oh, you mean a HOOKER!?!” I almost died!
Oh boy! Honestly, pretty soon they will know far more than we do. Scary!
Yeah, I was kind of thinking you and I had a lot in common and we actually could be “soul sistas”, I was actually relieved that you thought that was as funny as I did . . . It’s fun being twisted with someone who understands what you’re saying! I guess you shouldn’t actually buy the magnet, because of your daughter, but I imagine when she grows-up she will inherit your wit and that will be a lot of fun for you!
